Amidst tragedy that took many lives of our brothers and sisters in CDO and Iligan because of Typhoon Sendong that makes Christmas strange in most cities in mindanao region, life still goes on for the survivors, their very hope to locate the bodies of their loved ones keeps them moving , gives them reason to fight and stand in the battle.
On the other hand, if typhoon Sendong causes turmoil to hundreds of family members in the said region, Almost everyone that saw the situation in that province has their heart broken also. So most of us were moved with compassion to help, to care , to ease the pains they are going through . This just goes to say that, in times like these, (though we are not praying for this kind of tragic event) we can always find ways to extend our hand for our fellow country men who are in need.
I chance to watch the documentary on Sendong aftermath, and the victims were saying their Christmas is bloody and the spirit of Christmas can hardly penetrate their beings. But to some, it was the perfect time to be unselfish, to share what they have and give without reservation. To let go of those treasured possession for the benefit of Sendong victim. I just hope and pray that we be move and have the heart to mend our neighborhood that are in crucial position.

“Giving is Blessing” I like that title..
